On a bright evening, Enniskeane travelled to Barryroe.  They were a force to be reckoned with.  They had the first score of the game with a point after 3 minutes followed swiftly by a rocket of a goal.  with great play from our mid fielders Jessica & Ciara, we moved foward for Jessica to score a point.  Our backs Imelda & Ava and goalie Aishling had a very busy night as they fought for every ball and to keep them from scoring, but Enniskeane were sharper and got another 2 quick goals before Ciara scored our goal.  The first half finished with them scoring again but that didn't deter our girls.  Second half Claire Dullea went into goal and was kept busy with some fine saves, however,  she would have been a magician to save all of them so Enniskeane scored again.  They were on a roll.  We were unlucky not to score again in the second half as we did keep them from scoring for the last 10 minutes but it was Enniskeanes night and the final whislte blew it showed Enniskeane 9-8 to 1-1. the score did not reflect the efforts put in by all the girls but our girls are getting stronger with every match played.
