On a bright sunny autumn evening in Cill Na Martra, Ibane Gaels got off to a cracking start with an opening goal from Ryan O'Donovan, followed by a point from captain Lorcan O'Leary. Sean Walsh stormed through with two brilliant goals and two point followed by Ryan O'Donovan and Fergal Walsh before Duarigle Gaels opened their score. Ibane continued to dominate an exciting first half with two further points from Lorcan O'Leary, three points from Ryan O'Donovan, points from Sean Walsh and Matthew O'Donovan and goals from Christopher Walton and Adam McSweeney. The half time score was 6-10 to 2-05 in Ibane's favour.
Ibane Gaels continued to dominate the second half with two points from Adam McSweeney, three from Lorcan O'Leary and further points from Ryan O'Donovan and Sean Walsh, sealed with goals from O'Leary again and John Sheehy. Ibane ran out convincing winners in the end by 8-17 to 3-08.
