Barryroe welcomed St. Colums to Gaelic Grounds on Friday night for the latest round of league action. The visitors were that bit sharper up front and took their scores when the opportunities arose. A young inexperienced Barryroe side should take heart as they matched their more illustrious opponents for long spells, but no doubt plenty of work to be undertaken before championship rolls around in early July. Best for Barryroe were Patrick Maloney, Sean Holland and Darren McCarthy.
