U8 BLITZ
Barryroe’s Under 8s had their first blitz in over 2 months when they travelled to Rossmore last Saturday morning to test their hurling skills against the boys from Newcestown, Dunmanway and Kilbrittain. Though numbers were depleted (on all sides) on the day the standard of hurling was very good and it was great to see the progress the young lads have made since the early part of the season and particularly over the summer months. No doubt the time spent hurling in the back garden over the school holidays is paying off.
