Barryroe U14 camogie team beat visitors Dungourney 8-03 to 0-01 in camogie league match in sunny Barryroe this morning. A tremendous team effort with the girls battling for every ball from the moment it was thrown in to the very end of the match. The foundation for the win was laid in the first half against the wind with the girls scoring 4-02. Goals from Tara, Esther, Aishling and Cliona and 2 points from full forward Esther. Some positional changes in the second but still the girls kept up the momentum. Further scores from Esther, Tara, Claire Dullea and Ellen O'Riordan with a goal and a point sealed the victory. The girls showed great skill hooking, blocking and linking with each other.
