The minor hurlers of Ibane Gaels played Aghabullogue in the “A” championship at Newcestown on Wednesday night last. Fielding a young team they played exceptionally well and gave a great account of themselves on the night. It was nip and tuck for three quarters of the game but the better- balanced team from the Coachford got in for two goals in the final ten minutes and were well deserved 4-14 to 1-12 winners at the end. Ronan O’ Sullivan, Cathal Sheehy, Ryan O’Donovan and Sean and Fergal Walsh when introduced were outstanding for Ibane.
