Barryroe 4-06 St. James 2-07

A solid performance from the boys in blue, with team captain Brian Sheehy, Michael O’Donovan and Dermot Dineen to the fore, saw them get the better of St. James in this U12 hurling cup semi-final played in Barryroe on Tuesday last. Barryroe led at half-time by 3-03 to 0-05 (though the gap could have been wider but for some great saves by the Ardfield keeper), the pick of the goals coming from the stick of wing-forward Ted O’Sullivan.

Barryroe now look forward to a final against St. Colums in 2 weeks’ time where they will have to up their game a notch or two against  a team that beat them in the latter stages of the league back in June.
