On Sunday evening Ibane Gaels played Sliabh Rua in the Under 14 A Hurling championship at Bandon. The Balltmartle boys led by six points at half-time and increased their lead to three goals shortly after. The Ibane boys showed great spirit and fought back well, however, the clock ran out and Sliabh Rua won by two points.
