Ibane Gaels 3-14 Sam Maguires 0-14
Ibane came good in the second half of this U21A Hurling championship Quarter Final played in Rossmore. Sam Maguires had the use of a stong breeze in the first half and had built up a lead when Ibane struck for a pair of goals from Darragh O'Donovan and Micheal Whelton which allowed them to stay in touch at the break trailing 0-11 to 2-04. Ibane restarted the better and quick points added to by a Ryan O'Donovan major gave them a six point lead. Sam Maguires fought hard in the closing stages, however it was the Ibane lads who finished strongly to win 3-14 to 0-14. Next up is Newcestown in the semi-final
