Ibane Under 14 hurlers were well defeated by Bandon in the second round of the A hurling championship. All Ireland Feile winners Bandon started on the front foot and led at half time 3-09 to 0-05. The Ibane boys fought hard in the second half but the physically stronger Bandon side ran out worthy winners. Best for Ibane on the night were Zac Farrell in goal who made some excellent saves, defenders Brian Sheehy and David Holland, midfielder Olan O’Donovan who scored 1-06 and forwards Dara Walsh and Diarmuid McCarthy.
