Barryroe 2-09(15) Tadhg MacCarthaigh 1-11(14)

Barryroe produced their finest performance of the season to defeat 2021 West Cork Champions Tadhg MacCarthaigh in a pulsating clash at Ballinacarriga. A Ryan O'Donovan masterclass in point scoring ensured Barryroe retired at the short whistle deadlocked at Barryroe 0-07 to 1-04. Midway through the second half Tadhg MacCarthaigh were rocked back on their heels as they conceded two goals in two minutes. In the 44th minute Liam Colbert expertly finished a super attacking move for Barryroe's first goal quickly followed in the 46th minute by a Robbie Kiely bullet of a shot which nearly sent the net all the way to Dunmanway.  Some late scores reduced the deficit to the minimum but Barryroe held out for a deserved win.
