Ibane were defeated by Sam Maguires in their opening Rebel Og West Division 1 Football League game played in Barryroe.
Ibane started well with a goal in their 1st attack from Olan O Donovan however the concession of some very soft goals left Ibane trailing at half time by 4-06 to 1-07
Credit to the lads they fought back well and dominated the 2nd half and were unlucky not to come away with a draw , the 2nd goal coming from Daire Walsh
