The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) MOLONEY (Lehina, Lislevane, Cork)

On June 27th 2016, peacefully at Cork University Hospital and surrounded by his family, James (Jimmy), dearly loved son of Catherine and the late James, beloved husband of Mary (nee McCarthy) and dear father of Marie and Patricia. Sadly missed by his mother and family, brothers John, Timothy, Jerry and his sister Margaret, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Holland's Funeral Home, Barryroe. Rosary on Tuesday, 28th June, at 9pm, removal on Wednesday 29th at 8pm to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Barryroe. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Lislevane Cemetery.

The death has also occurred of JAMES F. (JIM) FORBES (Carrigaline, Cork)

Forbes (Carrigaline) On June 27th 2016, peacefully at Marymount after a short illness, James F. (Jim) (formerly of Cork G.A.A), beloved husband of the late Maura (nee McCarthy) and loving father of Fidelma, Aoife and Killian. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Ellen, Darragh, Abbie, Ciara, Teddy and Dougie, sons-in-law Seamus and Pat, daughter-in-law Ruth, brother Vincent, sister Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline Wednesday (29th) from 6.00pm until removal at 7.30pm to Church of Our Lady and St. John Carrigaline. Requiem Mass Thursday (30th) at 2.00pm, funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea. Family flowers only please, donation, if desired, to Marymount.

Jim was the Cork GAA Chairman in 2002 and presented the Barryroe capatin with their first ever county Junior B football title.
