Proposed Referees Foundation Course 2017

It is proposed to organize a Referees Foundation Course at a venue in The Carbery Division in March 2017. If anyone is interested please register your interest with our Club Secretary Richard Murphy.
It is important that we have sufficient Referees in the Carbery Division to cater for all our fixtures ie Carbery Fixtures, Rebel ÓG West Fixtures, County Rebel Óg Fixtures, County Board Fixtures.
At a recent Executive Committee Meeting this matter was discussed and it was decided that any Club that were not providing referees,their first Team in all competitions would play all their League Fixtures away from Home. This would be implemented in the 2017 Leagues if Clubs do not make a effort to recruit new Referees for the proposed Referees Foundation Course.
I would like all Clubs to have a discussion on refereeing at their next Club Meeting. Also some Clubs have only one referee who might be refereeing for a long number of years and these Clubs need to plan ahead and recruit new people who would do the Referees Foundation Course in March.
