Congratulations to Denise McCarthy on winning 2nd prize of €5,000 in the March Cork GAA Development draw last night in Na Piarsaigh GAA. Amazingly this is the second time in less than 12 months that a Barryroe person has won 2nd prize and also follows on from the club itself winning 1st prize in 2016.
The Cork GAA Clubs draw for the current season is at at the midway point, March was draw number seven. This is a very important source of income for Barryroe GAA Club each year as the club receives €45 from every ticket that is sold. Tickets are €100 each for the full season and there are superb prizes each month over the 12 month period. Top prizes each month are from €25,000. Please contact Club officers Sean De Barra, Richard Murphy, Michael Coleman, Vincent O Donovan or John O'Leary re purchasing same. Tickets may be purchased directly from the Club officers or you can purchase on line as well at www.corkgaadraws.ie. If you are purchasing on line, don’t forget to fill in Barryroe GAA, as being the club that you are supporting.
