Ibane Ladies Football Celebrate 2018 Sucess

On Saturday night last, Ibane Ladies Football club held its inaugural medal presentation night in The Grange Tavern. The Event celebrated our talented Under 14 team, who emerged as victors of the 2018 West Cork Junior C League. This panel of 25 enthusiastic and talented players are part of the history of our young club having been the first team to take to the field to represent Ibane Ladies four years ago, and gone on to be the first team to win silverware for the club.
The club wish to thank all who made the night such a resounding success, including Brid O’Sullivan for presenting the medals on the night. As captain of Mourneabbey, Senior All Ireland Ladies Football Club Champions, Brid had some great words of wisdom for our under age stars.
Other speakers on the night included Club Chairperson Tina Holland, Norman Fleming (representing the teams coaching panel), and team captain Sinead Walsh.
Many thanks to The Grange Tavern for sponsoring food on the night, and their hospitality and to the many parents and supporters who attended the Event – the first of many to come, no doubt, for our thriving club at just four years infancy.
