1994 Junior Hurling Reunion

05 September, 2019

This month marks 25 years since the Junior Hurlers of Barryroe defeated near neighbours Argideen Rangers in the West Cork Hurling Final. This victory ended seven years of heartache and ensured that the famous "Flyer Nyhan" trophy resided in the villages of Lislevane, Butlerstown and Courtmacsherry for the winter of 1994. The team will be commemorated at half time during this year's West Cork Final in Enniskeane between Kilmeen and Ballinascarthy.

It's a testament to the 1994 squad of players that so many of them are actively involved in the club 25 years later. Superb Gaels and heroes one and all!
