Medal Presentation

Well done to the 2019 Ibane Gael U16 hurlers who on Friday night the 21st February in Courtmacsherry Hotel were presented with their medals for winning the A championship title in 2019, a title which had not graced these parts since 1988. The presentation of medals was made by Tom Clancy, Clonakilty & Cork GAA Footballer, to the victorious team. Our sincere thanks to Tom for taking the time to attend. Tom applauded the lads and encouraged them to continue to play and enjoy the game. John Walsh was loud in his praise for Paudie Collins for his extraordinary efforts with this team over the years. Well done to this great bunch of lads and for the efforts of all the coaches involved, Paudie Collins, John Walsh, Donal McCarthy, Mark Flynn and Mick Walsh.
