Race around the Parish!

22 May, 2020

On Sunday 31st of May, Barryroe GAA & Camogie Clubs are joining forces and will co-host a fundraiser in aid of Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. Players from both adult teams along with young and old members throughout the parish are encouraged to take part in this fundraiser for a very worthy cause!

The fundraiser will take the format of a friendly challenge between two teams split into groups of four (two from each team) at several locations throughout the parish. All HSE guidelines will be adhered to, including the 5km exercise radius and social distancing.

Progress of the fundraiser can be followed on the clubs various social media platforms leading up to the event. Donations can be made through the the following gofundme link. Our goal is of course to raise as much money as possible for Marymount. We would urge everybody involved, whether out pucing or watching from the sidelines to donate, there is no donation too small!

Teams and routes will be finalised over the coming week as participants are confirmed. We hope as many people as possible can get involved and get back to a bit of hurling in a #racearoundtheparish
