New Planting

Recently undertaken works at Páirc Uí Mhurchú was the planting of some native species which will run alongside the new path of our second pitch and will form a screen for the people who will utilise the perimeter walk, which we hope to commence in the near future. The native planting utilised is Olearia hedging and some mixed tree species all completed expertly by Martin Cunningham Landscaping & Garden Services [contact number 086 832 8142].
As this planting is in the early stages of development, we would ask all teams to be mindful of the 'blue rope' barrier and to be extremely careful when retrieving any footballs and sliothars if they encroach into the planting area.
A Cork County Council Amenity grant of €1,200 was secured for these works which the Club is extremely appreciative. The Club would also wish to thank everyone involved in obtaining this vital funding.
