Jack O'Donovan R.I.P.

Barryroe GAA members were saddened to learn of Jack O'Donovan passing earlier today. On May 10th 2021 peacefully after a short illness at Marymount University Hospice, Cork. Jack, beloved husband of Teresa (nee O’Sullivan), much loved father of Sean, Dan and the late Tim, father in law of the late Catherine, brother of the late Sheila, Maura and Nora. Lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, grandchildren Rebecca and Nicole, Dan’s partner Marion, brother Pat Joe, sisters Kitty and Nell, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Under HSE and Government Guidelines a private Funeral will take place. Requiem Mass can be viewed on https://corklivestream.com at 12 noon on Thursday, May 13th 2021. Family Flowers Only. Jack’s Funeral Cortege will leave O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Thursday, 13th May 2021, at 10.50am proceeding via Emmet Square, Casement Street, the Bypass, Ring Road, passing Darrara School, Ahafore, Aghawadda Cross, pausing at his residence, Lislevane and onwards to Our Lady, Star of the Sea, Church Barryroe for private Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by private Burial in Lislevane Cemetery.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and his wide circle of friends at this time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dhilis.
