Barryroe came away with a 1 point win over Killeagh on Friday 25th in Killeagh GAA grounds. A tight first half with defences on top resulted in a tied score of 5 points each at half time. Goals from Hannah Whelton and Elaine Ryan put Barryroe in control but a late Killeagh goal brought it back to a 1 point game. Barryroe had 6 different girls on the scoresheet while the defence was well marshalled by Rebecca Mccarthy, Kate Dullea and Meabhdh Sexton along with the ever reliable Eimear White in goal. Next league game is in Barryroe on Wednesday 30th June vs Fr O’Neills. Final score: Killeagh 1-13 barryroe 2-11
