Great Wild Atlantic Marathon Walk 2022

An amazing amount of €9,209 has been raised from the Great Wild Atlantic Marathon Walks of 2022 for Courtmacsherry RNLI Lifeboat and this brings the total raised for the RNLI from six years of walks to €45,927. Sincere thanks to everyone that took part or contributed to this year’s event which is a joint initiative between Courtmacsherry Lifeboat Station and the local Barryroe GAA Club in the promotion of the Respect the Water Campaign, with the entire proceeds going to the Lifeboat. A big thank you to all the volunteers who gave of their free time to help make the main Walk-Day such a success on a glorious day in August and to our many sponsors who support us year after year. Its full systems go for next year’s walk on Saturday 12th August 2023 along the glorious coastal route on the Seven Heads Peninsula in West Cork. Thank you to the Walk Committee for organising this event every year.
