Timmy Sheehy Cup 2022
On the final Thursday of 2022 a record number of 35 teams set off from Lislevane in pursuit of the Timmy Sheehy Cup for 2022. In the final tally it was the defending champions of Adam McSweeney, Dónal O'Buchalla and James Moloney who made it to Grange in a record 22 shots. They were followed in second place by Ted Kearney, Sean Holland and Ciaran O'Regan with 25 shots.
Well done to all for taking part and well done to this years organisers Conor O'Regan, Micheál Whelton and Tomás O'Buchalla who were ably assisted by Paul O'Regan and Danny Murphy. Thank you to Ger and Mags of the Grange Tavern for the hospitality afterwards.
Earlier in the day the young boys and girls of Barryroe set off from Páirc Uí Mhurchú towards the Church to wield the camans in the underage poc fada. Thanks to all mentors / parents for stewarding.
