It's not too often we see a world champion in the Parish.

Former boxing champ, David Haye, and comedian Seann Walsh, proved welcome visitors to the parish, as they filmed segmants for a new TV series focussing on life in rural Ireland.
First up, they were in the pitch to see some of our under-age players go through their hurling paces. They then tried their hand at the hurling and aquitted themselves quiet well.

It was then on to the Grange Tavern, where they tried a bit of road bowling after lunch. Sean should stick to the day job, but David had a bit of style about him and looked the part. Some pictures from the day.
