GAA HUMOUR

26 March, 2014

My brother came across this site, Killeshin GAA club in County Laois.

Most of the first set of quotes, you might already know, but scroll down and meet that GAA legend.

THE JUNIOR B PLAYER

For Killeshin GAA club and it's take on GAA humour,

Meanewhile,

There have some great Junior B photos and clips on Balls.ie  over the years, but this might trump them all.

We’ve all been there at some point, you get to a game and realise you’ve forgotten some essential bit of your gear. You’ve got no choice but to make do with what you’ve got (I once played a game wearing two left boots).

It looks like something similar happened to a player from the Tracton GAA club as he played a game wearing work boots. Yeah, steel toe caps, the lot.

No doubt he was straight off the building site or farm. And he played an absolute blinder at according to reports.

UPDATE: Aidan Gannon tells us that Tracton play in Minane Bridge, Co. Cork and are known locally as AC Minane.

The above is taken from the Balls.ie sports website, well worth a visit,
