Barryroe for Sky TV

15 May, 2014

Former world boxing champion David Haye and Funnyman Sean Walsh, were filming a tv show in Cork in November. As part of the show,  they, along with the camera crew, visited Barryroe, and took part in some hurling training, some bowl playing etc.

The show is called,

24 HOURS TO GO BROKE,

and each week, two celebrities go to different parts of the world and have to spend 10,000 Pounds in 24 hours.

On Tuesday next, the program will be aired on the "Sky Dave", channel at 10 p.m.

Although the crew spent most of the day in the parish, we have no idea, how much of that will be aired as crew also filmed in Cork City. It could be five minutes, or it could be twenty five. We will just have to wait and see.
