LATEST NEWS, TWO MORE WINNERS IN DIARMUID FLEMMING BARRYROE AND NOREEN COLLINS DUNMANWAY.
So far, we have six (now 8), winners in the fund-raiser based on the time of the first goal in the Intermediate game in Clonakilty. Because scratch cards were involved, there could be more winners yet.
So far, we have winners in Darragh McCarthy, Martin Maloney, Marian Dullea and Vincent O'Donovan from Barryroe. A winner called Nyhan from Bal and Mr/Ms McSweeney from Timoleague.
The winning time was officially given as 60+ minute.
The event has proved a great success and we thank all who supported it.

Ciara O'Sullivan in the blue of Barryroe
Meanwhile, Ciara O'Sullivan, became the latest Barryroe girl to represent her county, when she was selected on the Cork Primary GoGames team, that played at half time in the Cork/Waterford game in Thurles.
The Cork girls, proved way too strong for their Waterford opponents, winning by 3-6 to nil. Ciara, daughter of Gillian and Pat O'Sullivan, from Shannach, notched 1-3 in the game.
She also captained the Barryroe National School team, that captured the Scith Na Scoil title recently.
