Weekly newsletter to go online.

20 October, 2014

With help from Fr. Barry and Members of the assembly, we hope to carry the weekly newsletter given out at Mass at the week-ends.

We have a lot of Barryroe people, (way too many), living away and they tell me that they really appreciate the bits of local news that we carry. When you are away, little things can mean a lot, so we are delighted to carry the news letter for our friends away from home. ==================================================================

Reflection:The great danger in to-days world pervaded as it is by consumerism,is the desolation and anguish born of a complacent yet covetous heart, the feverish pursuit of frivolous pleasures and a blunted conscience. Today vast numbers of people still do not know Jesus Christ. For this reason the mission to the nations continues to be urgent. All members of the Church are called to participate in this mission for the Church is missionary by its very nature. Pope Francis.
