11.30am       Case Study 1-Ballincollig            

This workshop will look at what the  club have done in the past 2/3     years at Child Level that works well     for them. 


12.00pm        Case Study 2 -Thurles Sars        

Thurles Sars are a very successful   club with an excellent underage                         Structure. This workshop will give us  an insight in to how they develop            players.                                        

12.30pm       What next for your club?           Cork Coaching & Games staff will out  line plans to support clubs in 2015 and                summarise the  key points from the day.

GER O CONNOR HEADLINES THIS WORKSHOP FOR CLUB COACHING OFFICERS. GER BRINGS A WEALTH OF EXPERI- ENCE HAVING WORKED WITH DUBLIN GAA FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS AS HEAD OF COACH EDUCATION. GER HAS ALSO BEEN BEHIND THE EXCELLENT BOOK “READY TO PLAY” WHICH IS A COMPLETE GUIDE TO PLANING AND MANAGING A CLUB NURSERY PROGRAMME. GER WILL TALK AROUND THIS MODEL ON THE DAY AND  POINT THE COACHING OFFICERS AS TO HOW BEST TO GET MOVING ON THE INITIATIVES THAT WORK WELL FOR CLUBS IN THE DUBLIN AREA. 
BALLINCOLLIG GAA CLUB WERE THE LEE FLAG GOLD CATEGO- RY WINNERS IN 2013. THEY HAVE BEEN A LEADIER IN UNDER- AGE DEVELOPMENT OVER THE PAST 2– 3YEARS. CURRENT AND EX COACHING OFFICERS IN THE CLUB WILL PRESENT ON WHAT INITIATIVES ARE WORKING WELL FOR THEM AND HOW THEY HAVE OVERCOME CHALLENGES ALONG THE WAY. THIS WILL PROVIDE CLUB COACHING OFFICERS WITH SOME IDEAS THAT THEY COULD TAKE BACK TO THEIR OWN CLUBS IN OR- DER TO IMPROVE THEIR STRUCTURES. 
DENIS MAHER IS THE TIPPERARY GAMES MANAGER. HE IS A MEMBER OF THE THURLES SARSFIELDS CLUB AND HAS BEEN INVOLVED AT MUNSTER LEVEL IN PRODUCING A CLUB VISITA- TION BOOKLET FOR GAMES DEVELOPMENT STAFF ACROSS THE PROVINCE. DENIS IS IDEALLY PLACED TO PROVIDE GOOD ADVICE TO COACHING OFFICERS ON WHAT INITIATIVES ARE VITAL TO UNDERPINNING A GOOD NURSERY STRUCTURE.IN A CLUB. HIS EXPERIENCE WILL DRAW FROM HIS OWN CLUB AND CLUBS ALL OVER TIPPERARY WHO HE HAS HELPED TO PUT COACHING STRUCTURES IN PLACE. 
CORK GAMES MANAGER KEVIN O CALLAGHAN WILL FINISH THE WORKSHOP WITH A SYNOPSIS OF THE PREVIOUS PRESENTATIONS AND A LOOK AT WHAT SUPPORTS CORK COACHING & GAMES WILL PROVIDE TO  CLUBS IN 2015.
