I received the following e-mail, some may be interested.
I am writing to you as a member of the Cork Senior Ladies Football Team. As you may be aware 2014 was another fantastic year for the team having won the All-Ireland title for the 9th time in 10 years, defeating Dublin in the final on September 28th in dramatic style.
This team has had a fantastic run over the past number of years accumulating 8 National League titles, 10 Munster Championships as well as the aforementioned All Ireland titles.
It takes a significant amount of hard work and dedication throughout the year from both players and management to achieve this level of consistency and success.
To celebrate our success the team is now fundraising for a players’ fund. In order to raise funds we are hosting a Golf Classic in Castlemartyr Golf Club on Thursday 27thand Friday 28th of November 2014. The Golf Classic will be a three person team event, with the first team teeing off at 7.50am and teams starting throughout the day. The cost of entering a team is €180; this includes tea/coffee and scone on arrival and a meal on completion of the course.
We hope the golfers will enjoy the 18 hole Ron Kirby designed inland links style course which was recently awarded Golf Course of the year. As well as being a challenging and demanding course it is hard not to be stirred by the exquisite views and landscapes.

Otherwise, if you would like to make a donation or sponsor a tee box at the event we would greatly appreciate it. The tee box sponsorship would cost €50. Should your company sponsor a tee box, your company name will be clearly displayed at that tee box.
