I have received the following notice.
"There has been a stewards inquiry called under chief steward Pat Lawton, (the same Pat Lawton who missed Sean Whelton's false start), as to the winners of the relay race at the Cork Track. All birth records, gender records and every other source has now been exhausted in relation to the winning team of four from The Courtmacsherry Soccer club. There is absolutely no evidence that any of the members is over 40 and that is one of the requirements, according to Brendan Colemans strict rules. There is also confustion as to how The Orange Jackets of the Golf Team got off to such a flying start. If anyone has evidence pertaining to the above inquiry, can they immediately contact Chairman Sean De Barra who was making his first ever venture to this venue. The CCC will make their ruling before midnight on Monday."
Personally, I have never seen so much cheating in my life, I was disgusted. What was happening on the home stretch? Were Vincent and Kevin trying to pull each other back or just trying to hold hands. You decide.
By the way, the guy waving the bottle in front of my camera and getting a bit carried away, was a total stranger.
