The Barryroe under 8 group enjoyed their first hurling blitz of the year in Enniskeane last Saturday morning. On a lovely summer’s morning, the lads displayed great skill and gave their all. All their early season training and practising at home has certainly paid off with the tackling and blocking most impressive.

Team 1 (managed by Norman Fleming) played Newcestown, Kilbrittain and Oliver Plunket’s.

Team 2 (managed by TJ O’Donovan) had 3 sporting and hard fought games against the young hurlers of St. James, Sam Maguires and Kilbree
