May Whelton R.I.P.

Whelton (Tiernanean, Lislevane) on 13/2/2016 - peacefully in the presence of her loving family, after a short illness at Bantry General Hospital. Mary (Mae) (née O Regan), beloved wife of the late John, dearest mother of Neil, Mary, Seán, Denis and Orla.
Today May was laid to rest in Lislevane Cemetry. On a wet and miserable day, Barryroe camogie club, which May co-founded, provided a guard of honour, while pupils from the Primary school also honoured May's life.
She is sadly missed by her family, sister Teresa, brother-in-law Paddy, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.
