Ibane Gaels competed in Feile B in Ballinspittle on Saturday. They played two games versus Courcey Rovers and Ballinascarthy, losing both. Ballinascarthy with a very strong side won the blitz. Ibane had the bare 15 players and were short a number of regulars and also had a number of injuries on the day which did not help their cause. However the younger lads that played gained valuable experience which will stand to them in the future.
Their next game is against Ballinascarthy in the Hurling league which is fixed for this Saturday.
