While Ibane were defeated in this non-eam Hurling league game played in Whitechurch it proved to be a very good workout for the team. Ibane were missing a few players and gave all of the younger players a game. Ibane lost the toss and had to play into the strong wind and performed very well in the 1st half to go in at half time losing 0-10 to 1-04, the goal scored by Eoin Holland. Ibane looked to be heading for the win when they led by 2 points with 10 minutes to go but it was Whitechurch who finished stronger and added on 3 points to win 0-13 to 1-09.
