Barryroe played St. Finbarrs in their final league game and lost on a scoreline of 2.7 to 2.16. The half time score was 1.8 to 1.5 in favour of the visiting team. We were unlucky not to have scored a few more goals as several chances went a begging. It was an improved performance from the home team with both teams evenly matched. It was St. Finbarrs greatly ability to pick off scores that saw them through. These teams will meet again in the coming months in the first round of the senior championship.
