Ibane Gaels 2-05 Macroom 1-18.
Ibane were well beaten in the semi-final of the Minor A Football Championship played in Ballinlough. While Macroom were deserving winners Ibane will be terribly disappointed with their performance. Macroom were dominant from the start and led by 0-07 to 0-02 after 20 minutes the Ibane points from Jack Cahalane and Dylan Harrington. Ibane then got a break when a long range shot from Jack ended up in the net it was only a temporary reprieve as Macroom closed out the half to lead 0-10 to 1-02. The 2nd half got no better for Ibane as Macroom assumed total control and the game was over with 15 minutes left Ibane did finish with a goal from a Bill Fleming penalty and this added to 2nd half points from Jack Bill and Steven Madden completed Ibane's scoring on a day they will like to forget.
Next up is a league final v Dohenys.
