Barryroe, 12:00PM
On Saturday 8th June 2018 in blistering heat our U8 boys took part in a football blitz in the GAA grounds in Barryroe. We welcomed St.James, Clonakilty, Timoleague and Carbery Rangers. Great skill and energy was shown by our boys who more than competed against these strong footballing clubs. Some of the team play and score taking was exceptional on the day.
A big thank you to all the teams who travelled and made this day possible. Also a huge thank you to the Mums who provided much appreciated refreshments afterwards. This added greatly to the feel good atmosphere of the morning. Also a big thank you to our two young whistlers , Sean O'Riordan and Gavin Sweetnam for refereeing the games. They both did a fine job.
