On a very blustery Sunday morning, teams travelled from Brian Dillons, Ballinhassig, Bandon, Nemo and Kilbree to take part in our U8 camogie blitz. It was all systems go from 11.30am with a total of ten teams playing on five pitches for over an hour and half. With a small break between each game, the girls had just about time to get a quick drink before it was onto the next game.
It was great to see them using all the skills they have learnt during the year under the guidance of Paul, Bill & Paudie. The girls have improved so much since the start of the season and hopefully will continue to do so next year. The games were followed by a much needed hot cup of tea / coffee for all the parents and refreshments for the girls in the dressing rooms. A big thanks to all the parents who helped out on the day.
