It was a matter of so near and yet so far for the cailini of Barryroe as the U12 Camogie team travelled to Ballincollig on Friday evening where they met Ballygarvan in the County A Championship final. After a keenly contested game, Ballygarvan ran out winners 3-03 to 3-00. This is one of the most promising camogie teams to come on the scene in Barryroe for many years and their display of ground hurling was a treat to watch.
