Back in time to 1975 when the cost of a pint of Guinness was 27p and "Rhinestone Cowboy" was tearing up the charts our Junior B Footballers took on near neighbours Timoleague in Championship action, Second Round, in Clonakilty on the 14th September. Even though Barryroe missed two penalties they ran out convincing winners 2-11 to 0-07. Barryroe scorers: Vincent O’Donovan 2-03, Brendan O’Sullivan 0-04, Joe O’Leary 0-03, Cecil Finn 0-01
They eventually lost the semi final to Caheragh.
