U12's play in Semple Stadium

On Tuesday 25th July Barryroe Under 12 hurling team enjoyed a memorable day out at “The Field of Legends” Semple Stadium, Thurles.
The highlight of the day was playing three matches against Garryspillane (Limerick), Kilmoyley (Kerry) & Carrigaline.
The Barryroe lads accounted for themselves very well and played some excellent hurling on the Semple Stadium pitch which as always was in immaculate condition.
After the matches the team, mentors and supporters enjoyed a tour of the stadium accompanied by Tipperary hurler John McGrath. John was an excellent host and answered the many questions the Barryroe lads presented to him. (especially Zac)
After leaving the stadium, in true Cork tradition the Barryroe group enjoyed a meal at the Anner Hotel before heading back home after another memorable day out in Thurles 2017.
Well done to all concerned in organising such a venture, a memory that I'm sure will live long with these boys.
