Girls represent Cork

Congratulations to our camogie girls who represented Barryroe on the national stage recently.
Tara Fleming (daughter of Tracey & Norman Fleming) was selected for the Primary School games and played at half time of the Munster hurling final Cork v Clare game in Thurles on 1st July.
As a result of Barryroe National School winning the Camogie Mini Sevens competition, Ciardha McCarthy (daughter of Gertie & Donal McCarthy) was selected to play in the GAA INTO Cumann na mBunscoil Respect Exhibition Go Games at half time of the All Ireland Semi Final Cork v Limerick game in Croke Park on Sunday 29th July.
Jessica McCarthy (daughter of Jacinta & Jim McCarthy) played for Cork in the All Ireland U15 Blitz on Saturday 28th July in Blanchardstown, Dublin and went on to win the Shield against Galway.
Barryroe camogie’s future is looking bright!
