Teddy had a distinguished playing career with Barryroe GAA. In the famous parish leagues of the early 60s Teddy would have plied his trade with Ahamonister alongside his brother Bernard. Teddy's proudest playing day was in 1964 when Barryroe secured their maiden Carbery Junior B Football Championship title. Teddy played a staring role in this team lining out midfield as they defeated Goleen 0-05 to 0-02.

Rest easy Teddy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dhilis.
