Ibane complete football double!

The Ibane Gaels minor footballers completed a league and championship football double by defeating Kilmurry at a dry and well attended Páirc Uí Mhurchú on Friday night last. Ibane started brightly and Sean Walsh major was quickly followed by a Cian O'Sullivan wonder goal had Ibane retiring at the short whistle 2-05 to 0-04. This was a lead they never looked like relinquishing as they ran out winners 2-11 to 0-06.
Well done to all the players and management team on very successful season with the big ball.
Best wishes to Captain Mike Ryan on his recovery who suffered a nasty injury towards the end.
