Richard O Flynn has arranged a Club Football Coaching Workshop with Cork Senior Footballer Paul Kerrigan on Saturday 14th December in Barryroe School Hall from 12.45pm to 3.30pm. This serves as a follow on to the Coaching Courses that have taken place at both Foundation and Level 1 in the Club during the year.
As you know Paul is a top class Senior Inter-County Footballer with both Cork and his Club Nemo-Rangers. He has won many honours in the game including an All-Ireland Senior Football title with Cork in 2010 and 4 county Senior Football titles with Nemo Rangers. He captained Cork to Munster U21 titles in 2005 and 2006, along with holding a Corn Uí Mhuirí title and a Sigerson Cup victory with CIT. He made his Senior Inter-County debut with Cork in the 2008 Munster Final against Kerry. Paul teaches and Coaches in Coláiste Chríost Rí. At present he is coaching the school's under-14 team.
Paul will conduct a coaching session with the Club's Under-14 footballers to demonstrate to coaches various drills that they can perform with similar
aged players and also to have the Under-14's coached by an Inter-County player. Along with the Under-14 footballers the Club is also going to have the under-12's and under-10's come along from about 2.30pm to allow them also have the opportunity to be coached
by Paul and also to get autographs and have pictures taken. These times may vary slightly during the session.

On a side note, someone asked me if Paul would even be able to find Barryroe, but as some of you are aware, Paul's dad, Cork and Nemo star Jimmy, is a regular visitor to Courtmac in the Summer time.
