No great changes at A.G.M.

13 December, 2013

At our annual A.G.M., Seán De Barra was returned as Chairman,  Eoin Mc Carthy vice Chairman,  John Joe Holland as Treasurer and for the 50th year in a row,  Paddy Murphy returns as Hon. Secretary.  As John Joe Holland will be stepping down after this season, Mike Coleman will fall in as Assistant Treasurer. This is a very sensible move as it will make the change over next year much easier.

The Treasurer's report made for interesting reading and despite the extra expense incurred this past year, with the new playground, generator etc, the club's financies are quite healthy.

As usual the Secretary's report captured the past year accurately as it has done for the last 49 years.

There was much talk on football matters in the club, with strong contributions from Densy Whelton, Thomas Farrell, Paudie Collins and Kieran Griffin among others. The Chairman is to meet the players shortly to discuss issues arising.

The Chairman thanked all who helped run the club during the year and the meeting concluded just before 11 p.m.
