Report on FĂ©ile hurlers, plus Open-air Mass for Easter.

On Saturday Ibane Gaels travelled to Passage to take part in Feile hurling blitz. With only 16 players, which included one u11, they narrowly missed out on qualifying for the next round losing out on points difference. They played thee half an hour games against Passage West, Tracton and Laochra Og. In the opening game they beat Passage by 1.5 to 1.2 with the goal coming from Brian O'Donovan. In the 2nd game, despite playing well they lost out to Tracton 1.5 to 1 point. To finish off the day they beat Laochra Og 2.6 to 5 points. At the end Passage, Tracton and Ibane all finished with 2 wins, however Tracton had the better point difference and qualified for the next round.

An open-air Mass will take place at Blind Strand on Easter Sunday morning. The Mass will start at 5 a.m. All are welcome, a torch and warm clothing are suggested.
