Report on yesterday’s action at Páirc Uí Rinn:
On Saturday September 20, the U10 Hurlers participated in a blitz at Páirc Uí Rinn, which was a reward and a recognition of the effort the club, school and players have put into coaching, training and participating throughout the 2014 season.
Barryroe entered two evenly balanced teams in the blitz.
Team 1 played
Youghal, Grenagh & Carrigtwohill
Team 2 played
Aghabullogue, Carrigtwohill & Youghal
On an ideal morning for hurling, both the players, parents & coaches had a great day out.
Both Barryroe teams performed excellently and both players and coaches will have learned a lot from the experience of playing at Páirc Uí Rinn and playing against teams that they would not normally meet in Carbery Division blitzes.
The players also got to meet two of their hero’s from the Cork team:
